Acceptable Usage Policy
This policy summarises the rules for using BlazeHost services responsibly and without causing harm to the platform, other customers or third parties. It corresponds to Chapters 10 and 11 of the Terms of Service.
Allowed use
Services may be used for lawful websites, applications, game servers, automation, development, backups and related community infrastructure, in line with the law, the Terms of Service and good morals.
Customers are responsible for all content and software they run, store or distribute within the service and for all activity on their account, including actions of people they gave access to, and also when they make the service available to third parties (for example players or website visitors).
Prohibited activity
You may not store or distribute unlawful content, in particular child sexual abuse material, content inciting violence, terrorism or hatred, or content infringing intellectual property or personality rights of third parties.
You may not carry out or support attacks on computer systems and networks (DoS/DDoS, unauthorised port or vulnerability scanning, brute-force or other unauthorised access attempts, traffic interception, IP spoofing), distribute malware, run botnet command-and-control servers or phishing sites, send spam or run open mail relays or proxies that can be abused for spam.
Cryptocurrency mining is prohibited, except on dedicated servers where the Provider has allowed it in advance in writing (email is sufficient).
It is also prohibited to overload shared infrastructure in a way that endangers other customers, bypass technical limits of the service, process personal data in breach of the GDPR, resell services as your own hosting without the Provider's prior written (email) consent, or use services for any other activity that is unlawful in the Czech Republic or in Germany, where the services are physically operated.
Security and resource fairness
Customers must secure their service appropriately (software updates, strong passwords, protected access) so that it cannot be abused by third parties, and must operate within the technical limits of the purchased service.
If a service creates excessive load, network abuse, repeated crashes or a security risk, BlazeHost may require mitigation steps, temporarily limit traffic, suspend the service or recommend a more suitable product.
Reporting and enforcement
Anyone can report unlawful content or abuse of our services without registration using the "Report abuse" form at billing.blazehost.cz/abuse or by email to [email protected]. The single point of contact under the Digital Services Act is [email protected], +420 910 114 397 (Czech and English).
Reports are assessed by a person in a timely, diligent and objective manner. Depending on the severity, BlazeHost may warn the customer, remove or disable specific content, limit network traffic, suspend the service or account, or terminate the contract. Measures must be proportionate.
We inform the customer about every restriction by email at the latest when it takes effect, including the reasons and available remedies. The customer and the reporter may object within 14 days to [email protected]; the objection is reviewed, where possible, by a person who did not take the original decision.
